Registration Rules

Minimum Age:

All participants between the ages of 0 – 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the event. The accompanying adult must also register for the event and takes full responsibility for the safety of the entrant 12 years or under. Participants over the age of 12 can complete the course without an accompanying adult.

Race Rules:

Single baby buggies only (not double or triple) will be allowed. Non-racing wheelchairs may be permitted to register, but must seek prior approval from the Race Director by emailing alyson.bowker@humepack.co.nz

One Registration Per Person:

Please submit one online regsitration per runner/walker.

Waiver

1. Acceptance of all registrations to the Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd, is dependent on entrants agreeing to the following conditions and waiver. The entrant is fit to complete, will abide by all race rules, participate at their own risk, and waivers all claims against Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd, sponsors or any other person(s) associated with the event. The entrant authorities that their name, voice and/or picture, or any information given on this entry form or obtained at the event, can be used without payment in any broadcast, telecast, advertisement, promotion or in any other way related to this event pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993. Entrants will be accepted at the discretion of Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd, which reserves the right to reject any entry or issue special invitations. Entrants under 16 years of age require the consent of their parent or guardian. I understand that competing in the event involves running or walking on public roads used by other people and traffic and I am aware of the hazards involved. The hazards include but are not limited to: vehicle traffic, actions of competitors, spectators, event personnel, weather conditions and my physical and mental state of health. In my judgement I have sufficient competence and experience to participate safely.

2. All event entries are non-transferable.

3. By registering for the Hume Fun Run/Walk I agree to receive further information from sponsors of the event about its products, services, and other offerings (including by electronic message, including email and text message) using the contact details provided by me.

4. Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd has, in its sole and unfettered discretion, the right to cancel or postpone an event due to weather conditions if it is deemed unsafe for competitors to compete.  Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd also has the right, in its sole and unfettered discretion, to change the course or nature of an event.

5. Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations if the failure results from force majeure, Act of God, fire, explosion, industrial disputes, Act of Government or order made under any legislative authority or anything beyond Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd’s control.
