The Hume Pack-N-Cool and Growers Community Fund is a registered charitable trust, established in celebration of our 40-year milestone. It reflects our commitment to social responsibility as one of Katikati’s largest employers and recognises the positive economic impact the kiwifruit industry brings to our region.
The fund is made possible through contributions from Grower crop proceeds, with every dollar matched by Hume Pack-N-Cool - doubling the impact for our community.
Our inaugural funding will assist a wide range of initiatives, including:

Cancer Society, Stroke Foundation
Fire and Emergency NZ, Hato Hone St John
Scholarships, training programmes
We welcome applications from individuals, groups and organisations within the community.
Our Board of Trustees meets every two months to assess applications.
